[CSP-2020] Heads-Up on Diagnostic Test 1

Hello Everyone,
The Diagnostic Test 1 (DT1) contains 25 questions. The number of questions has been kept at 25 for each Diagnostic Test and subsequently it shall be raised to 100 in the Full Length Tests. The reason for this incremental spike in the number of questions is to give the candidates enough time to prepare for the CS Mains and to ensure they are not bogged down by mock tests containing 100 questions every week. Preliminary Examination is only a screening test and to keep attempting mock tests containing 100 questions week after week is tantamount to over-kill. We shall raise the number to 100 exactly when it should be i.e. 2-3 months before the Prelims.
Coming back to DT1, the questions are both conceptual and factual. Most of the questions have been rooted in the current affairs as is being done by the UPSC. PDFs containing the detailed solutions shall not be posted on the website, rather it shall be emailed to the subscribers.
Subscribers are once again requested to create enough noise to enable more candidates to subscribe to the website and take advantage of the mock tests. They are also encouraged to write their answers in the comment section once the test is available and to engage in healthy discussions.
Some of the sample questions from DT1 are as under:
